How to read a result
Ontario treats water as not recommended when the geometric mean of at least five samples is 200 or more E. coli per 100 mL, or one sample is 400 or more. Rain, waves and cloudy water can change conditions between the sample and the swim. After Labour Day, routine sampling stops.
